During his stint with seven different newspapers, he has been a beat writer for all three schools in North CarolinaÌs basketball-rich Triangle of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. Peeler began his writing career covering Jim Valvano and the North Carolina State Wolfpack for that schoolÌs student paper, The Technician. Peeler resides in Cary, NC.
