Your look won’t be complete without a college hat. Here you can take your pick from many different types of headgear. This includes fitteds, adjustable hats, flex hats, beanies, visors, and more. Flex hats come in a fixed size, but offer enough flexibility to fit most people. They are constructed of materials such as nylon, polyurethane, and spandex so that they can stretch to fit. Some college caps have mesh panels down the sides for greater ventilation and color contrast. There is often a Dri-FIT sweatband on the inside of the crown to absorb sweat and provide a comfortable flex fit.
Most of our NCAA hats are adjustable and have a strap in the back, so that you can adjust it to a customized fit. The strap can be plastic, cotton with a buckle, or Velcro. They typically have unstructured cotton crowns, and curved bills with line stitching.
College visors are another alternative. These are built like an adjustable cap, but have an open crown. The bill is long and angled downwards. Visors are perfect for keeping the sun out of your vision, as the bill can sit low above your eyes. The open crown is convenient and won’t cover up or disturb your hairstyle.
When it comes to fashion and style, nothing beats a fitted cap. Most of our NCAA caps have a flat bill and high structured crown. They have especially large, complex and attractive embroidered designs. For example, our Notre Dame Fitted Hat has the school insignia in blue-and-white embroidery taking up most of the front panels. They come in many colors, with some models featuring team color contrast on the underside of the bill, or on the embroidered eyelets. As they are fitteds, they are made to specific non-adjustable sizes. But since there are a great variety of sizes, you’ll be able to find a college cap that’s just right for you.
When it gets cold outside, the most important thing you can do is keep your head insulated. Our college beanies will help you do just that. They are made of acrylic, which is both durable and warm. The acrylic material is rib knitted in the common 2 x 2 gauge or in 1 x 1 gauge for finer threads. They come in team colors with various stripe designs, and a school logo embroidered on the cuff. There are designs for both men and women. Women’s school beanies have softer threads, intricate designs, and frequent use of white and pink. Some beanies are reversible, with different patterns on either side.
